We found out we were pregnant 3/1/10 with a due date

We found out we were pregnant 3/1/10 with a due date of 9/19/10. In May, during a visit for our ultrasound my high blood pressure was discovered. I was in the hospital for a week while the doctors were trying to figure out exactly what was wrong with me and I was put on Labetalol, transferred to a high risk OB afterwards. I just had high blood pressure and no other signs so the doctor wanted me to come in every 2 weeks to be monitored more closely. A urine collection in June turned up with more protein in it than my hospital stay in May so another collection was ordered, along with blood work. Two days later I got a call at 7am in the morning that I needed to get to the hospital for observation. When I got to the hospital, on Wednesday July 14th,  I was told not only was there more protein in my urine but my blood work showed liver inflammation and low platelets. The doctors said if my blood pressure remained stable, my liver didn't get worse, and my platelets didn't get lower I'd be able to deliver on Friday the 16th. If any one of those things got out of hand I'd have to have an emergency c-section.
Well due to some frustrating people my blood pressure went sky high and none of the Labetalol they pushed through the IV was able to bring it down. I was told I'd have to have my daughter c-section immediately...2 hours because apparently there was a line for the operating rooms. I was scared. But I had her and it was a very successful c-section. Zoey was born at 30 weeks 3 days, actually 28 weeks 3days, 2lbs 6.7oz and 13 3/4" long. She has Apnea, can't hold up her own body temp, until recently didn't suck or swallow. She had to be revived twice the night she was born and her lungs collapsed once, she was jaundice, had digestion problems.  Now she is about to be weaned off the nasal canula, is starting to bottle feed, we are practicing breastfeeding, is almost able to keep up her temp and weighs 3lbs 11.8oz and is 15.7" long. She is doing great and we hope she continues to improve.
