I'm Elaine, 27, and I experienced pre-eclampsia during the birth of my son Bradley, who is now 6. I was overdue and was getting a stiff neck. The midwife came out and said that my blood pressure was very, very high so I got rushed in to the hospital and the next minute I was tied to a hospital bed with 5 drips and blood pressure machine and was told I had 50/50 chance of surviving the birth. I had an emergency c-section and my son was delivered safely, weighing 8 pound 11. He was a big boy. I was then told I was very lucky.

Hi,

I went to visit my Dr and he rushed me straight to hospital, my blood pressure was 200/90 and i was 28 weeks pregnant.

Lost my baby on the 8 September and gave birth on the 9th September

Dr couldn’t lower my blood pressure they tried all they could and on the 9th i had to do a c section :(
