I was pregnant with my forst son at 17 and the care was not very good, i think because I was young. My blood pressure was always 110/90, which I now know not good for my age. I mentioned to my mum one day that I felt like the moments had slowed down so she sent to the hospital to be looked at. I felt fine i didnt feel sick I wasnt swollon nothing. The nurse took my blood pressure looked at me and said thats no right so she did it again, she then turned to me and asked if I was ok. I said yes, I felt fine. She then said it must be this machine so she went off to get another one. Did my blood pressure again and then said " I am doing something wrong." So she went and got another nures. She then did it and said no I am getting the same. I asked what it was and it was, 150/110. They decided I need to stay at the hospital for the day and night to see if they could get it to go down at all.

I woke up at 3:00am with stomach pains, they wern't contractions they were just pains. I decided to ring the bell and this is were the story becomes hazzy. The next thing I knew was I was in intensive care and I was having a ultrasound. The doctor turned to me and said your blood pressure is 180/150 we need to get this baby out your placenta isnt working.

Then I was being cut open and my son was born at 33 weeks weighing 3 pounds. He was fine and healthy no oxygen. It was me that was the concern, I had a very minor stroke and I was in the intensive care for a week but thankfully I was fine and now my son is 8.

I have had 2 pregnancys since I went full term with both no problems. I am pregnant at the moment I cant say the same about this time around however i am having twins.
