HNI (parent company to HON) had a jean's day for Preeclampsia too, and they raised $160. HNI Charitable Foundation matched that as well, so NEW TOTAL donation is $1,420!!

Amazing...just from a company dress-down day!!

JEANS DAY FOR PREECLAMPSIA FOUNDATION

The members (employees) who choose to give a donation to PF wear jeans to work that day.

The event is being organized by Angelique Jones, HON employee, who has been volunteering and participating in Iowa PF events for one year.

RESULTS:
Angie has shared, "the Jean's day was a big hit!" The HON Company Headquarter members raised $550, and the HNI Charitable Foundation matched that amount, for a total of $1,100!

"Jeans Day" to benefit PF

For those of you who work in an office or administrative setting where business attire is the norm, dressing down for charity could be just the project for you!! A great idea for teachers too!

It's an EASY fundraiser to coordinate (just a bit of time to get permission from management, email co-workers, and collect money).

For a $5 donation (or any amount you determine) employees would be permitted to wear jeans or dress down on a specified work day....with benefit to the Preeclampsia Foundation.

Tell your employer why this cause is near to your heart. Hand out awareness materials to co-workers and clients to help spread valuable info to the community. Post fliers on the company lounge bulletin board. Show PF's awareness DVD over lunch or during a meeting time (only costs $5 to purchase on our Marketplace).
