I just wanted to update that after 14 weeks of bedrest and an induction at 37 weeks, our beautiful son arrived perfectly healthy. :) He weighed 7 lb 1 oz and needed no assistance. Apgars of 8, 9, and 9. I am doing good. Still on the Procardia until at least my 6 week PP checkup. I have some swelling in my feet but I think that's pretty normal even withut pre-e. I was on a lot of IV fluids, antibiotics, and the Pitocin for quite some time.

This board has been a huge huge support for me during this pregnancy. I sincerely appreciate all of the advice and support that I was given here. Thank you all so very much!

I ended up getting admitted when my sx got worse. They did a 24 hour urine and my protein was around 400. So I am here and we are inducing tomorrow. I will be 37 weeks. All of my other labs were normal. I really really want to avoid MagSulf so I hope that we deliver before needed. My BP has been stable.

It's so hard to predict in pregnancies that aren't your first - it is always superimposed on your underlying conditions/ genetics and since the placenta is exploiting previously remodeled arteries, it implants more deeply. Keep us posted, and don't hesitate to give the docs a holler, even if you do have an appointment soon.

Yes, I had it beginning around 20 weeks. Went on strict bedrest at 23 weeks. The protein went down, way down. I can't remember how low at the moment but it went way down and my BP stabilized after the bedrest and procardia.

Baby is doing great as far as movement.

I would be worried - IIRC you've had borderline proteinuria and some pretty scary spikes earlier in this pregnancy?

Don't hesitate to head in for followup bloodwork if things persist and worsen. This disease moves very fast. How are your kick counts?

is pre-e imminent?

I woke up last night with pain between my sternum and ribcage on the right side. It felt like a stabbing pain. I had my galbladder removed years ago so I know that's not what it is. I was also having ctx all night so I ended up in L&D today. I am 36w4d now. I had pre-e with my first pregnancy but not my last 3 pregnancies. I am on procardia for high bp and preterm labor.

My liver enzymes were fine. My potassium was low and my platelets are dropping. Last time they checked platelets was in feb. and they were 156,000. Today they were 130,000. They let me go home and pretty much said the stabbing rib pain must be baby. Possible but I don't feel movement on that side, only the left. He is head down. At my last BPP and growth scan (at 36 weeks exactly) he was estimated 6 lb 8 oz and my fluid level had gone up from 15cm to almost 21cm in a week. I am still having the pain under my ribcage on the right side.

They are having me start a 24 hour urine tomorrow to turn in Monday. I don't see the MW until wednesday. Should I be worried? How do I know if things are getting worse if they think it's just his foot or butt in my ribcage?
