I am glad that the doc sent her to do have blood drawn, as it will show liver functions, especially if your daughter was nauseas throughout her pregnancy. Has a 24-hour urine collection been ordered?
The diastolic reading seems high to me, so please make sure to mention it to your doc today, especially of it was her lowest. Your daughter might need BP medication. Good luck today and let us know how it goes.

She took her BP 6 times during her visit today and the lowest reading was 119/91.

She has had good bp all the way through until this visit. I asked the Dr how her urine was and she said there was some protein but did not say how much. She has not had swelling or headaches, but felt very fluish this morning and vomiting BUT has vomited frequently throughout. Her Dr sent her for blood tests today to check her liver functions. (That is what she said) We will watch her very closely.

Welcome to the forums. PE can be very unpredictable, some women only develop mild symptoms and limp along for a while, while others get sick severely very fast. Here is a list of all the symptoms to watch out for: http://www.preeclampsia.org/signs-and-symptoms
Not all of them have to present, nor show up on in any particular order. The diagnostic criteria for PE is BP of 140/90 or greater, measured on two separate occasions six hours apart and proteinuria of >300 mg in a 24-hour urine collection.
What have the doctors said? What are your daughters BP readings and has she she been put on BP medication? The good news is that she is already far along, so if anything looks bad, I would think that doctors would not hesitate to deliver. Please watch out for headaches that won't go away with Tylenol, high BP readings, visual changes, flu-like feeling, sudden weight gain, vomiting, swelling in face and hands,upper right quadrant pain or pain in the shoulder blade area. Preeclampsia and eclampsia can occur with no warning sign. Did they tell you how Mich urine was present in her urine?

My daughter is 36.5 weeks pregnant 1st baby. Has borderline high blood pressure and protein in her urine for the first time during her pregnancy.
She has suffered morning sickness pretty much throughout has no swelling or water retention. She has started feeling a little fluttery in the chest.
How concerned should we be?
