After I had my third child, I was diagnosed with post partum PE. After running diagnostic tests, a CT scan showed an enlarged thymus gland. It was reevaluated every 6 months and, after a year and a half, returned to normal size. The doctors didn't know if it was related to the PE as pregnant women do not get CT scans. Since the thymus gland is related to the immune system, it makes sense to me that it was a reaction to the PE. As anyone had a similar experience?
