I'm joining as soon as we get this baby delivered. I think we would like to try for another baby down the road but I told my husband I wouldn't even consider it unless we both lost at least 40 lbs. I had gained weight due to being a newlywed with an undiagnoses hypothyroid. I'm not expecting this to prevent preeclampsia the next time around but it sure would make baby production easier on my body.

Let's do it. I'm excited...and tired... and we haven't even started

We will restart the Weight Loss Buddies thread over on the miscellaneous forum starting Monday Oct. 1. This is a great way to start the new fiscal year, get in shape before TTC, lose some weight before the holidays, or just get a little healthier. Join us if you want to lose some weight, maintain a healthy weight, or simply improve your fitness.

Welcome to Weight Loss Buddies, Fall 2012 Edition. Oct. 2012-Dec 31 2012.
Join us any time. I will start on 10/1, but you are welcome to start any time. We are here to support everyone's weight loss and fitness goals. We come in all shapes, sizes, and activity levels. Everyone is welcome.
There are no rules for WLB. Many people post their starting weight, weight gain/loss for the week, and their goal. You don't have to post numbers if you don't want to. I think it is a good idea to weight in regularly and track my weight loss, but I understand not wanting to do it publicly. Check in whenever you can. There is no requirement to check in weekly or make any commitment to stick with it. We also use this group to trade healthy recipes, fun workout ideas, and motivation to stay out of the chocolate cake.
