Congratulations! I hope both of them will be home soon. It so hard to go home leaving the babies in the NICU. How are you doing? How is your BP? I hope you are getting good postpartum care with an eye on lingering PE symptoms.My BP was quite uncontrollable 2 weeks pp and I needed to go back to the hospital for a while.

Well, I did the best I could with bed rest, but on January 3 my BP and protein was up and my midwives recommended immediate induction. The magnesium and pitocin weren't so bad, but I couldn't stand being tethered to the bed and flat on my back for hours. I got an epidural after about eight hours, and then Twin B's heart rate started dropping with each contraction. They ended up being born via c-section on January 4. Both are still in the NICU but doing very well. At least one should come home in the next few days.

Awww, yes I understand. I am exhausted doing nothing! Just try and go with it, listen to your body we are supposed to be tired at this point anyway. Hang in there, you're doing great

It's amazing how fast on bed rest you seem to atrophy and be completely exhausted by small doctors visits and such... and carrying twins to boot! Oy!

Thanks, both of you. I'm still hanging in there. BP readings are still high, but no headaches or other symptoms of HELLP. Everything looks good at the monitoring visits, but I sure get tired easily.

Hello and welcome! I know its all so overwhelming to go through, its great though that you are already at 33 weeks. Try your best to stay relaxed, read, watch movies that are happy, eat good healthy foods and staying well hydrated can help with braxton hicks. Thinking of you, keep us posted on how your doing

Hello, I am 38 and 33 weeks pregnant with twins. On Thursday I was admitted to the hospital for 24 hour testing and diagnosed with preeclampsia. I was allowed to come home yesterday with instructions to take my blood pressure twice a day and rest and sleep as much as possible, and now I have a million doctor's appointments every week. I'm still trying to get used to what I can and can't do, and what I should and shouldn't freak out about. Since I got home I've been having more BH contractions than every before, but they're not regular. Anyway, hello everyone.
