Yay Fingers crossed for an uneventful third trimester.

Hi, an update from the last time I posted. I will be 27 weeks tomorrow and everything is going well to date. I started biophysical ultrasounds last week and I have another next week and as I get further the ultrasounds will become weekly. I'm praying and hoping for a healthy third trimester. Laura

Hi, just an update from the last time I posted. I am now 16 weeks pregnant and doing well. Baby is due in August 2013. Praying and hoping for my pregnancy to continue on healthy.

Welcome Laura! I am sorry you lost your precious little baby to PE. It is heartbreaking and so hard to endure. I hope you are able to find comfort with your family, friends or perhaps therapy to cope with the loss of your child. It is very hard, especially the first year, but it gets easier over time.

I will keep my fingers crossed for a take home baby and an uneventful pregnancy. I am glad to hear you are being seen by a high-risk doctor.
Keep us posted on your current pregnancy if you'd like, we will keep you company! Subsequent pregnancies can seem long and scary.

Hi, I'm new to the Foundation and I have experienced preeclampsia with hellp syndrome. My first son was born in July of 2008. I had pregnancy induced hypertension at 36 weeks and was placed on bedrest. I delivered our little man at 37 wks. 6 days. He is now 4 years old. Our second son was born sleeping Sept. 2012. A beautiful baby weighing 4 lbs. 13 ozs. and 18 inches long. He is in our hearts forever. I developed severe preclampsia with hellp quite rapidly. I had a placental abruption. RIP our sweet Angel. I found out today I am 4 wks. pregnant. We are happy, but nervous after what happened to our second son and to myself. I was in hospital for almost 2 weeks after experiencing preeclampsia with hellp. I will be seeing a high risk specialist in the near future. I was wondering if anybody had a similar experience, PIH first baby, PE second baby and how did things go with third pregnancy....thanks....Laura
