This is so sad. I feel for her husband. My husband often
tells me he was so scared of losing me. We unfortunatly
lost our son, though. I have heard that often when a baby
does well, which seems to be the case in this situation (if he
got to go home with dad so quickly) the mom does not. I hope
we can find a cure for this horrible mystery sickness!

I am sad to report the news of a death of a mother, January 1, 2004, Katherine, in her mid 30s, in Pennsylvania. Her baby survived and is going home Friday from the hospital. I will post more details when I hear. Katherine was Hungarian and had been trying to conceive for sometime. She and her husband were both professors and I believe she taught Physical Education and was apparently very fit and very well educated.
