Just a little tid bit about what I know about wrong cuff sizes. When I swelled and gained pg weight I had to move from regular to large. My smaller cuff was consistant in it's readings but was a little high...like 10 pts above the "true" reading...so even if we used the smaller cuff, we had a fair idea what my bp was. My point is: If you're getting normal readings with your smaller cuff when you should be using a bigger cuff, your bp is probably great. YIPEE! LOL

I haven't had the bp checked since last week, but I used the home cuff I bought and it was very normal, even with the small cuff. I have the large cuff on order, so we'll see what happens when I get that! I did walk on the treadmill tonight - 20 minutes!

How is the ol' BP? DOing little things like taking stairs and a quick jaunt with the dog is great!!! Whatever you can do is good..it's so hard to find time and many people would just leave it at that, but you are making adjustments to everything and that's awesome!! Keep it up girl!!![:)][:)]

Just looking for a little positive reinforcement here. I haven't been walking on my treadmill like I should because I am so tired after work I can barely keep my head up, but I know I need to exercise more to try to lower my bp, sooooo I've been trying to take the stairs more at work and today I went up twice - my desk is on the third floor! It's halfway decent today (20 degrees and mostly sunny) so I think I'll take the dog for a walk tonight. Thanks!
