How to get comfortable on bedrest?

Post by haunaniv » Thu Feb 19, 2004 08:26 am

Hi everyone. I am 22 wks. and my Dr. put me on "modified" bedrest. No PE yet, but we are watching bp very closely. Basically, take it very easy. No exercise and get lots of rest. I can still get up and do things around the house, etc., but just have to take it easy. I need some suggestions on how to get comfortable while on bedrest. I find that after laying on my left side for so long my left leg and arm start to hurt and cramp up. I am having a hard time sleeping. I was on bedrest with another pregnancy (PE), but don't remember having problems like this. I use lots of pillows, but maybe some of you have some other ideas that have worked for you. Thanks.
