Here's to hoping there's no storm! Woohoo for 15 weeks so far!! :) We started seeing a Peri around 20 wks..we met him for a pre-pg consult, then only saw him twice during the pregnancy (though he worked with our OB..they talked to one another for advice). He wouldn't even look at notching b/c he said that it can be cause for concern, but it can also mean nothing, and he didn't want me to get stressed out about it.

Or maybe there will be no storm?! Or maybe it will just be a little shower. I'd be ok with that. I'm 15 weeks. My doctor told me this week that the baby is developing a lot right now, but we really don't focus on growth at this point until around 20 weeks. It was a quickie scan. I heard the heartbeat and he said all looked ok, but it wasn't much more. Prior to this point, we've done crown to rump measurements and have seen great progress. But...all was fine with my son at this point too, but then everything took a nose dive at the 20 week scan with MAJOR growth restriction, which hindsight tells us now was the first sign of the placenta tiring out. I'm actually really grateful we made it to 27 weeks. I had the URQ pain and nausea starting at 25 weeks.

I've been doing great stress-wise until now, especially since after 8 weeks with the miscarriage scare behind me. Also, we passed 1st trimester screening with flying colors. Now it's like... a waiting game, a sort of holding pattern until the growth scan, and I'm beginning to feel it. Is there anything that can be monitored specifically (besides BP) before 20 weeks? Notching doesn't show up this early does it? I haven't seen my MFM yet, probably because everything has looked great so far and it's still early. When did you guys start seeing an MFM, and for what reason?
