Most Doctors will only go by definite symptoms (lab results, Elevated BP) to make a diagnosis. If you are sensitive and have a good 'bodyfeeling' you might feel something is up or different. PE can be tricky, as it does not always present in a systematic pattern and many symptoms can be also something else, but your care providers should be diligent and be sure not to dismiss any symptoms that could be PE. With your history I hope your doctors are watching out for PE and are keeping a close eye on you. Your pain in the rib cage worries me. Have your labs come back? Even if your doctor is dismissive keep reporting all symptoms and call to be seen if you feel off.
