We're on Labetalol 200mg twice a day. It is back up trending in the 130s/70s (from my regular low of 11x/low 6os) buuuuuuut my 24hr came back at 400 again so woo hoo! I even get a week off of doing the 24 hour... I'm so grateful for that. And baby scored a solid 8/8 on the BPP today... we'll do those weekly.

I'm going to practice taking it easy this week and hope things stay the same and that I earn another 24 hour free week.

Yay! What medication are you on? Labetalol?

Feeling very very hopeful! The medication and increased rest are totally doing their job! It took a few days for it to all level out, buuuut so far so good. I find myself cringing like it's going to be high... but nope! It's so nice to see normal blood pressure! I'm hoping with it so much lower today's 24 will come back holding steady around 400 or even better... lower!! Crossin' crossables for a whammy free next 15 weeks!

I'm so sorry, it really seems like after you've lost a child you deserve nothing but the easiest of pregnancies, I wish I could make that true for all of us. I'll be thinking of you and keeping fingers crossed it stays mild for you! Big hugs.

Thank you so much- the support here really means a lot. While I'm still very sad to have lost our last chance at that perfect pregnancy, I had a nice chat with an old doctor of ours that I trust very much who helped put everything in context. I'm feeling much more hopeful that we'll cruise in some weird atypical mild presentation until at least 37 weeks. I'm doing everything that I can medically, and that's the easier part. I'm going to try to focus on feeling positive from here on out.. especially since the negative gets me no where fast.

this diagnosis is so disheartening, especially when you've been down this road before. I hope it stays relatively quiet and baby gets to keep cooking for a few more months.

Oh, that is very discouraging news for sure, but you're not defeated yet!! Hopefully your numbers will start to improve or at least stay the same. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way!

We're 24 weeks and some change. Our last 24 hr came back at 396, in the office I'm in the 160s, at home highest is a random high 140s, with more frequent 130s. I'm very very very disappointed. With both previous pregnancies we made it to 29 weeks without too many bumps. To have them starting so early this time around scares me, especially now with a toddler around the house, the logistics of bed rest, or heaven forbid a hospital stay is so much more challenging.

I'm trying to stay hopeful that we'll have another atypical presentation and stay in the mild range for many weeks... but today I feel very defeated.
