I could not be in more shock, joy, relief than I am knowing that we have made it to 39 weeks after having sever pre-e and delievering our 1st son at 30 weeks! We have a csection scheduled for Monday morning and as I look at my belly know knowing that in less than 48 hours we will have a 2nd little boy I can't help but feel a release of fears that pre-e would strike again. I have been one paranoid momma from day one. I monitored my bps at home all the way through, pushed for labs when I "wasn't feeling right" and advocated for myself! I started going weekly to my obgyn apts at 22 weeks had 3 L&D run ins and finally ended up with a mild pre-e diagnosis. I was put on home rest at 33 weeks and hospital bedrest at 36. Im so thankful for our dr who was as cautious as we were and proud of my body for tolerating this pregnancy. There is hope for women with pre-e!
