Thanks Holly! I think he is looking for consecutive high readings. I also have no swelling, no visual disturbances, and no protein in my urine. I have not had a reading that high since. My BP is very reactive to anything. I can stub my toe and it can be 160/110. I am sure we will be looking at some kind of medication in the next couple of weeks.

Amen Holly! Olive, at what point will your Dr decide to medicate?? Not being on anything specially with the reading you had today would make me nervous.

Good for you Holly!!! I had a scary bp reading this morning (145/102), but my doctor said to just watch it over the weekend, and the rest of the day it's been 127/89 and 122/89. I don't even know what to make of my crazy up and down readings the last couple of weeks. I'm just thankful for every day I get without moving further down the PE road!

I was 30 weeks yesterday. My preemie's 13th birthday is next Friday, and I am just trying to get to that point without meds. But, my bp tonight was 132/102. I'm thinking we will be looking at meds within the next week or two. Then my next goal is to be able to actually attend my baby shower on 10/20.

Hmmm... Good question. I'll ask. I normally have reflux too and have been without Prevacid all this time.

Think yours is heartburn, maybe? I've been having a little reflux but no heartburn. Hope your visit with the OB goes well!
