Many of us monitor their BP at home, often as per doctors orders. It is recommended to use one with an arm-cuff rather than a wrist-monitor, as these are less accurate. Be sure that the cuff has the appropriate size for you (not too large, nor too small). In terms of brands, I don't have a recommendation, but you might find user feedback online.
