While I was in recovery Max (my husband) came down with a Nicu doctor saying she was grunting and would have to go to the Nicu for a little assistance breathing . I stayed calm strangely. She was in the Nicu on cpap for a few hours then breathing fine on her own. So she spent her 1st night in the Nicu. The next day we got her back in the room with us! It was also surreal to go from having the sickest baby in the Nicu to having the healthiest one. Leaving the Nicu so quickly with our baby brought up lots of emotions. I am happy to say all is well. We are home . She is doing so great and breastfeeding!! What a journey this has been. I am so grateful for this site it really got me through so much. I look at her in complete awe and still cannot believe we made it home. Still can't believe no preeclampsia after how horrible our 1st experience was. I have never been so happy. I will be posting pictures of her later, ok Max will be I attempted to and hve no clue what I'm doing ha ha. So, pictures to come!!! xoxo :)[/quote]
