Here's hoping for a nice reassuring negative! Keep posted! :)

Oh, and be prepared... it's not the most fun to have done! But sheeesh when pregnant, if you're not getting poked, seems you're getting prodded!

Hi,

I hope so far things are going as well as possible and your fFN tests have all been negative. I've had a few throughout my pregnancies (PTL). They are very accurate if negative... not so accurate if positive. So they can give you peace of mind when negative that the likelihood of going into labor in the 2 weeks following are low. However, if it's positive it isn't as reliable.

Hope you're still chuggin' along and making your milestones.
Best,
Lauren

FFN Test

Hello Ladies,

I'm considered high risk, today my doctor recommend I start taking the FFN (Fetal Fibronectin) test, it detects if you are going to deliver in two week or not. I have a short cervix. Have any one had this test or have heard of it?
My last two pregnancy I delivered @ 27 weeks and again @ 26, due to preeclampsia. This time around looks like my cervix going to let me down. My girl are healthy today @ 10 and 7. This one is a boy so I'm praying that he doesn't follow in his sister's foot step. I just want to make it to 32 weeks or even 40.
