Hi everyone,

many hugs from the other side of the world to all of you. my little baby boy managed to make it to full term, with no complications. I delivered on June 3rd via c-section at 38 weeks.
although i was anxious, worried throughout the pregnancy i tried to enjoy it fully...keeping my hopes that this time we would have our baby. my pressure was great throughout, it went up a little the last week but i was not overly concerned at that point. i was on baby aspirin from prior to getting pregnant until 2 weeks before c-section.

it was the most overwhelming moment to see Luka Santiago "jump" out of my abdomen and scream at the top of his lungs.i cried so much the anesthesiologist asked me if i was was the ugly cries of all type of emotions put together, making me shake uncontrollably on the operating table.

he was 21 inches and just over 8 pounds. he looks a lot like our little leilani, the nose, mouth and eyes...although she was so tiny at her birth.

i will never know the "why's" of my preeclampsia at first pregnancy, but i am thankful i managed to steer clear this time.

this forum has been a major support, and i hope everyone delivers their babies safely and PE free.
