I am with Nancy with the feeling pregnant comment. When I miscarried last summer, all of a sudden a few days before I started bleeding I was feeling less tired and my breasts didn't hurt. i was like cool this is going to be easy and then.....so, glad for once that you still feel kinda crappy. Hope all goes well at the doc.

Hey Suzanna,

I am glad that you still feel preg and I hope that means queazy. I have had 3 mc-2 before Calvin and 1 between Scott and Janie. The sicker you feel the better. I started to feel better before I lost them. Your hCG levels double daily and it makes most women nauseated(it would be nice to be one of the ones who don't get am sickness). Did your dr check your hCG level and how was it?

At my last OB appointment 10 days ago, my doctor couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler either, even though I was 1 day shy of 14 weeks! Luckily, he has an US in the office and there it was -- my little baby. Funny, he was able to distinguish the sex (boy, although not 100% sure at this point!), but we couldn't hear the HB.
Try not to worry, but seek out some reassurance if necessary! Good Luck with your little one!

I am so sorry I haven't responed back before now. My litle Sammy has been ill, so I have been really busy with him.

I haven't called to make a new appointment yet - since it has been the weekend. I am going to call tomorrow and talk to them. I still feel very pregnant. I am trying to reassure myself that the peanut was just too small and in a bad postion. I had an ultrasound prior to this appointment and a viable babe was seen with a strong heartbeat. I know that doesn't mean anything in terms of miscarriage - but it seems to mean that I know there is a babe there and not a blighted ovum or some other issue.
Sorry to ramble, it makes me feel better to get all these emotions out. My husband is getting tired of me asking "Do you think the baby is alright?" I will let you all know what happens tomorrow.
And thanks for the babybeat link. I am thinking of renting one.

I agree! You should be seen as often as you think necessary. This is a new provider, so I'd give them a chance. Let them know how you feel, and see how they respond. Congratulations on your bp!

I agree with the other posts, I would really want to have an US! I am sure everything is fine, but for your own peace of mind and to not spend 4 worried weeks, it would really help! With both my sons, they couldn't hear a heartbeat at 11 weeks. They did an office US with a very old fashioned machine, and could see one with my first son. With my second son, they couldn't see one either, but could see him moving around! I still felt worried, but they had me come back in just 3 days and then we saw one. I would have gone crazy waiting 4 weeks.

I agree, I'd call back and ask for an u/s. I'm surprised that she didn't do that right then. At my 12 week appt my dr. couldn't find the heartbeat and we did an u/s immediately. (Fortunately for me she had one in her office) I could barely wait the 10 minutes it took to change rooms and get prepped let alone four weeks.
