Suzanne,

Did they tell you what your protein was (i.e. 300)? I hope it was just a scare too but, it would be good to know where you are at? When do you get the amnio results back? I hate that waiting period! I thought we would go insane (we had a amnio with Scotty for downs). They gave us pic of the child's Chromasomes-it is very cool. Hang in there. Can't wait to hear!

Thanks so much to all of you for your support!! I finally heard on the tests yesterday. They were fine! They showed no urinary tract infection, no problem with kidney function, etc. So the theory is that since I was so sick earlier that week, I was still somewhat dehydrated and that caused that particular sample to show too much protein. I hope this is correct! They are going to do a 24 hour sample in a bit once I should be totally recovered. I am feeling good and my BPs are still really low (for me, around 110/70). So hopefully this was just a scare.

I am waiting EAGERLY all week to hear about the amnio and therefore find out BOY or GIRL! I will let you know when I find out! Thanks again to all.

I am glad that you got a tast of a "normal" appointment - but I think that all of us touched by pre-e can't have a normal one - we are always waiting to hear the worse. That seems really early to have a +2 protein, I would hold off being too scared until you get a 24 hour urine and blood work done. Please let us know how you are.

I hope you had a nice lunch.

Oh! That is scary!! And how disappointing after such a good appt. I hope there was another reason for it, and it resolves quickly. Your BP was so good!

{HUGS} I know thats scarey. I would tend to think it might be something else since you are under 20 weeks and since your BP is good, etc. I hope that is the case! Keep us posted!
