Congrats on seeing Baby Dot!! I'm sorry about all your shot anxiety! I bet it won't take many shots before you are a pro! That's how I've gotten with having my blood drawn. I used to throw up or pass out and I had to have hubby with me. Now I can even have it done without hubby with no problems!

I think it would be MUCH harder to give the shot to someone else. It went fine last night, actually, the place I gave myself the practice shot still hurts, but last night's doesn't. Weird! Thanks for the support!

I have to tell you. My grandmother has arthristis really bad. I went with her to her DR one day and she wanted her on Methotrexate. I assured the DOC and grandma that I could give them to her 3 times a week. I took granny home and got scared! I started it off slow...only placing the needle just the slightest bit under her skin. Asking her all along if it hurt?! Well, as I started to inject her it all bubbled up under her skin. My poor old 78 yr old granny took that needle from me while she said "give me that damn thing" and jammed it into her thigh! I cried! I told her I didnt want to hurt her! lol Needless to say, granny did them on her own after that! I was such a wimp!!!!!!!

I have faith in you! You can do it! Just remember in the end will come a GREAT reward all worth EVERY single injection! Think of the baby when you give them...maybe that will help!

Thanks so much for taking the time to write, with all you've been through lately! I know I will get through it. I haven't had a crying jag in a really long time! DH gets home Friday night. OK - here I go! I'll post more tomorrow, in fact, you all might get sick of me!!

Sweetie you can do it! It is hard to get used to the injections, but you are strong and I just know you can make it through all this! When does DH get home? I hope soon. Can you teach him how to do the shots so that he can share the responsibility with you?
