how frustrating indeed! i hope your ob can instruct you a bit more clearly. i would be scared to even start without being shown how to do it and having the dr. watch me do it myself. better luck tomorrow!

I went to my perinatologist's office this morning to so they could train me on how to do the Lovenox injections. They gave me two pieces of paper, one that discussed the potential injections sites and one that discussed how the injection should be done. That was it. They didn't even have the prescription there and no shots were even administered. The nurse said no dr was there so they could not prescribe the medicine for me. I go to my OB's tomorrow so I guess I'll get the prescription there.

But who ever heard of going to learn how to do an injection, without there even being an injection?? What a waste of time!
