Can I join in? I REALLY REALLY need some support and motivation!!!

Starting Weight: 196 (weight when I first started dieting)
Current Weight: 184 on my scale, 188 on doctors (I have been stuck here at this weight for over a month)
Goal Weight: 150
Short Term Goal: 180 on my scale

I have no desire to exercise anymore. UGH!!! Can anyone share with me some low cal recipes or foods that you like to buy at the store? Or any advice in general? Thank you!!!

Starting weight: 208 Current Weight: 198 Short Term Goal: 170ish Long Term Goal: 150ish............ I went on vacation, but was able to swim everyday, at least....now I'm starting a liquid protein diet to see how that goes....

Jennifer, I completely understand. I am on an anti-anxiety medicine that I have heard and read can make you gain weight... I don't know if it is just me not being able to get motivated or the medicine keeing me from losing the weight or both... I also have been trying to watch what I am eating, but I am an emotional eater and everytime I get depressed about something, which is a lot lately, I eat to make myself feel better... It is so hard to overcome being an emotional eater...

Jeanne,no I haven't been working on loosing weight too long. Actually all I have been able to do lately is really watch what I have been eating. I have had big plans to exercise more I just can't seem to get myslef to do it. I know that loosing weight would be extremly benificial for my health I just have an anxiety thing that I can't get past. :( soon hopefully! I am only 5'2" also so I have quite a bit to loose.

Jennifer, have you been working on your weight loss very long? I keep trying to diet and do good for a week or two and fall off and gain more weight everytime... I am up to 201 at only 5'02", and need to lose a lot of weight...

Short Term Goal: 150
Goal: 135 lbs
Height: 5'6

Met my workout goals again with three runs, including my longest ever on Saturday, one good bike ride, one hike, and pilates yesterday. I think I balanced that out by making my best friend a totally evil four-layer, pudding-filled birthday cake, made with more cream, butter, and sugar than I would normally eat all year. Absolutely, totally worth it. I had it for dinner on Wednesday and breakfast after a run on Thursday.
This is going to be a hard week for us because one of our dogs has gotten too anxious to be safe around our daughter. We are heartbroken about re-homing him and stressed about keeping everyone safe. Learning to handle that without pounds of chocolate will be good for me, but it won't be easy. This is the first time in my life that I have been too stressed to eat. I can't believe my skinny friends actually live like this.
