Ugh... I'm begrudgingly in. I feel sick with myself because I've been following this since it started and I wish I had been seriously trying all this time with you guys. :(

October 1 is perfect. Gives me 3 months until serious baby making!

Hi Laura - Congrats on your weight loss and upcoming wedding! I agree that getting to a stable, healthy weight is empowering. We can't control everything in life, but it is awfully nice to control that part of our health. I am planning to start a new thread in late september or early october for some pre-holiday weight management.
I have been fighting some stomach problems that caused me to lose some weight, then gain it back. I hope I am close to equilibrium. I am feeling better and starting to work out again.

I know it's been a while but I just want to chime in and say that i have reached my first goal!!

My goal was to be 165 on my wedding day. My wedding is a week away and i am a steady 165 lb! That means that i have lost 35 lbs.

After the wedding my goal is to lose another 15-20 lbs. If i could be stable in the 140's, i would feel very strong and healthy and on some level a little bit more.... empowered?... to try to start conceiving baby #2.

Sounds good! I figured I just don't have much excitement to add. Sorry about how things are going for you... I really hope you feel more yourself soon so you can feel normal again.

I went on another brief vacation, so coming back to the same scenario as last time. I didn't gain, but didn't lose, so that is good all in all!

Hi Alexa - I hope you are making good progress on your weight loss/management. I am bouncing all over the place because of stomach issues. I can't exercise, but I can't eat half the time either. I guess it balances out. We can let this thread die down for a while if you want. I might start a new one up in the fall. This has been great - thanks for hanging in here through the summer. I will still pop in when I see a new message.

I know what you mean about kryptonite. I had purposely stopped baking treats for a while, because even if I don't eat many they seem to put weight on me immediately. However if I just have baked goods on a random basis at coffee shops, etc, it is fine. I guess it is probably that I eat more of them for a period of time when I make it at home.

I was in a water retention phase for a few days because my weight jumped up 2 pounds out of the blue but went back down today.

I think I am pretty much in the phase now to see if my weight is done going down or if I have a few pounds left in me to lose. If I have news to share, I will let you know, otherwise if I am quiet you know it is because I am fairly stagnant!

Alexa - congrats on the vacation weight loss! That is great news.
I am about 5'6", and my body's happy weight used to be about 130-135. I can live with 140, but 145 is what happens when I eat ice cream and bagels. Bagels are my kryptonite. I love them, and I gain a pound every time I eat one.
I will be off the grid for a few days on vacation. We will be camping near some really great trails, and I am hoping to literally run my gut off!
