We've been very busy...Ethan is doing very well. He is scheduled for his "BIG" surgery (airway reconstruction) on August 23rd. We've been waiting for this surgery since Sept. 29, 2008 when he got his trach. It is a MAJOR surgery, but was invented at the hospital that is 15 minutes from my house...so thankful and lucky for this. I count this as a huge blessing every day. Anyway, I will update on his progress in a couple day, as we're moving next week and things are hectic. But PLEASE say a prayer from now til the 23rd. If all healing goes well, there's a chance he'll have his trach out within the next 6 months! Thanks, as usual!
