Hi guys,
Well I made it to 36 weeks.
They est baby is 6 pounds. We are hanging in there taking each day at a time.
I am GD so there is always concern for lung dev.
I am praying all will be well w/ her.(I feel in my heart that it is;)

We were just shy of 35 weeks when DD was born. She had to stay for 15 days after birth. She was 4 pounds even when she was born. My girlfriend's DD was born at 35 weeks too, but was 6lbs 8oz and was able to go home with no problems at all.

My son was 34 weeks and was a a little over 5 pounds and stayed 2 weeks in the NICU. My doctor told me when we were getting ready for induction that he has delivered a 34 weekers that were ready to go home. I do see you made it to 35 weeks my grilfriend had twins at 35-36 weeks and they came home with her. Every baby is so different I do wish you the best of luck

I had a 36 and a 34 and the 36 came home with me and me and the 34 were in the hospital for 4 days only due to BP and waiting for him to have a 2nd checkup .. was a holiday weekend too.... he weighed 4lbs 7 and went home weighin 4lbs 5.... Good Luck

I have officailly made it to 35 weeks today!!

My Dr. is confident that, (barring any unforseen stuff of course...)
The baby will be able to come home w/ us:), and she guesses the baby to be about 5-6 pounds:)
Although I am only measuring 34 cm, that it is negligable, and well within the 35 week size req.

I am actually getting excited, and less afraid.
There is an issue of "hurry up and wait" though.
I get the results of my 24 hr., at noon tommorrow.

My b/p's were higher than normal but acceptable today, so after the nst, I got to go home.
I forgot to ask what my protein was on the stick test we did though...darned pregnant brain!

I had to drop off my jug after that.
I'll let you all know how the 24 hr went,asap.

I had my DD at 35 weeks and she was ready to go as soon as she came out! She was 4lbs. 10 oz. when she was born.

Giselle - born 6/04 @ 35wks, severe sudden preeclampsia by emergency c-section.

I brought my 34 weeker home @ 36 weeks. She was small- but did awesome. Didn't have to be on a vent or anything.

She only stayed the 2 weeks to gain some weight/hold body temp/and feed. I had the steroid shots with her (2 times before she was born)

I brought my 35 weeker right home on time. He didnt go to NICU at all and roomed in with me right from day 1.
