The baby was born in Naperville, Illinois -where I live. I saw a picture of the mom in the paper today crying tears of joy. Don't you all remember when you finally were able to take your treasures home? What an emotional day that was and seeing her picture brought it all back to me!!!

More info -she had the laser surgery for the ROP and it was successful. I bet they do a yearly update, so I will keep you all posted!!!

I saw her on the news last night and had to wake DH to tell him about her going home! I was so excited for the family. That is just wonderful news![:D]

Hi all,
I think you all may have seen me post about the baby that was born at 27 weeks who was born weighing 10.8 oz. Well, little Zoe is going home tomorrow!!! Incredibly, she had NO brain bleeds, no organ issues, NOTHING!! She looks great, almost like what my son looked like after he was 3 months old. She has been in the hospital for 22 weeks. Her mom has lupus and it effected the pregnancy. She looks great but they do not know what the future holds. So far, so good. She didn't even go home with O2!!
