Well I am sorry to say that I am unable to attend. [:(][:(]

I was really planning on it and I know its important for the state coordinators to be there, but I simply don't have the cash right now and I can't really hop in the car and drive to Seattle! We had a closing date on our original house that just fell through which is a deal breaker for my trip out west. Being a SAHM and managing 2 mortgages is just too much right now to splurge on plane tix... Anyone in the market for a beautiful Victorian duplex??? [;)]

Anne and everyone,

I hate to be saying this, but, after talking it over quite a bit with my Dh, I have decided that I'm not going to be coming to the conference this year. [:(] I know it's kind of late in the game to be deciding this, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes to anyone.

We have been setting aside money for me to come, but we still have a lot of medical bills to pay off from my PE fun. [}:)] We decided that it would be best for everyone if we take some of the money and donate it to the PF, and then use the rest to pay some of the hospital bills off. I'm kind of bummed because I was REALLY looking forward to meeting everyone, but I know that this is the right decision for us.

I know, I know...you were all dying for me to make an appearance [;)], but don't worry, I'll still be around. [8D]

We don't have enough registrations in to reserve the facility at Talaris--so we have moved to Plan B. Please use the following list to reserve a room that best suits your personal needs. When you have made a reservation--please email me that you plan to come so I have a general idea of how many to plan for. If you are interested in sharing a room, or staying with a local family, post here and we will try to match you up.

The conference begins with a dinner July 21--so please plan your arrival and check-in accordingly. The meeting ends July 22nd in the evening but we encourage people to stay through the weekend and enjoy informal get togethers with one another, Seattle and your families--it is a beautiful time of year.

Per babysitters/etc...I don't have any problem with folks bringing their babies but we want to be sure that at the conference July 22 sessions that people can feel they can hear the speakers so it would make sense if you have a toddler or a little one who will get bored that we arrange childcare--we can likely do it right onsite; and if you have an infant/less mobile baby, we just ask that you scoot outside if the baby needs to vent...does that seem reasonable? evening of the 21st same thing--at least during the speaking part of the evening (like half an hour), evening of the 22nd is very much a family picnic event.

We are trying to figure out how many people to expect because we can't book a place and then be on the hook for it if we don't get enough--so it is tricky--so please fax, email, let us know you are RSVPing so we can plan accordingly. Currently 15 places left. The conference activities start at a reception/dinner July 21 6 p.m.~ and most of the "info" occurs the 22nd all day. 21 is mostly for bonding, sharing, etc...
