I hope our Florida members will post here, because they have been awesome in helping to support Dawn's family. On behalf of the PF, we had a member attend the Memorial Service, and the PF was listed as a link in some of the media coverage thanks to the diligence of Florida co-coordinator Tamara D. The great thing about involving members across the country is that we can provide tangible support to those in need, not just share our sorrow on this forum. Keep up the good work!

I read this article too today and my heart broke. This just strengthens my belief that we definitely need to make people more aware of this disease! My thoughts are prayers are also with her new baby and family.

OMG this is horrible...obviously she was very ill if she delivered right after Thanksgiving. Jeez, what was going on at that hospital if she was there a month. Stories like this make me so sad, and angry at the same time.
My prayers are with her family, her baby, and her husband.

That is so heartbreaking. What an amazing spirit she had. It is upsetting that more precious lives are affected by this horrific disease. Her husband and family are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.
