I did chart to conceive my daughter, but it is so much work and added stress for me. The temping is the worst part. I think knowing the signs of ovulation and your cycle is the important part (Fertility Friend is a great resource), unless you have fertility issues. That is all I am doing now.

Ditto for me--I never got the hang of charting. Could not do it at the same time everyday, woke up at weird hours, and sometimes I'd move around too much before I took my temp. My charts were always off.

I tried charting last time and it lasted about a week or so. I'm just not that disciplined... And, my husband works swings and graves so, I'm always up and down at all hours... Throws off the whole charting process.

I'm actually considering stopping charting...it's starting to add to the stress for me. I'm glad I have charted a few cycles to get a better understanding of what's going on...but I may give it a break next month. So I may be joining you in not charting soon!

I'm not charting either right now. I did chart when TTC Alyssa--the doc wanted to know if I was ovulating or not. After about 1 year of TTc (6 or so months of that charting) he took one look at my chart and said you're probably not ovulating all the time. He put me on Clomid the next cycle--I did no charting-was sick of it!- and I got pg that month! Doc wants me to try for about 4 months before going back on Clomid--I'm hoping I won't have to. So, if I don't get pg this month--I may start charting again just so I can have an idea of what's going on with my body. I'm going to go buy TCOYF today. I know there are several website to help you get started charting--I don't know of any right off hand. I'm sure someone here knows! Good luck TTC and "babydust" to you!
