I did a 24 hour recently (about a year pp) and had none. MFM said it was good because it meant that 1) I had gone back to normal and 2) years of chronic HTN hadn't damaged my kidneys to the point where I'd spill.

I take that to mean that not spilling any is optimal. Of course I'm not a doc and I'm sure someone more sciency can chime in.

Hi,
So I'm three months postpartum and I just got my urine test back which indicates that I'm still spilling some protein. The number was 0.4g/L. My doctor said he was going to get me to do a 24/h urine sample so that they can test again. What is the normal amount of protein to spill? Should I be worried? Have others had this happen and then had their numbers return to normal?
