Hi Jamilyn: Thank you for posting about this walk! Tucson in October sounds beautiful, and the Walk to Remember sounds like a lovely event. Perhaps this will inspire other PF AZ members to join you.

Thanks again. Hugs...

I just wanted to let everyone in Arizona know about the Arizona Walk to Remember held by Footprints Support Group. October is infant death awareness month. It is going to be held Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 10:00 AM in Tucson at the Childrens memorial park on North 15th Place and Edgewater.
The walk is approximately 1/2 mile followed by a memorial ceremony. Parents are invited to write a special message to their baby that will be read as part of the celebration of life ceremony. T-Shirts, snacks and drinks will be provided. They encourage bringing family and friends.
I went last year with some family and friends and it was a great way to honor and remember my son.
If you would like to know more please email me and I'd be more then happy to give you better directions or give you the number for the support group if you have questions I dont know the answer to.
