It could have been much much worse - his doctor kept telling him how incredibly lucky he is. When she wasn't laughing at him for continuing to his business meeting (which I was also at) and forgetting to tell me - one of our business partners 'mentioned' to me at the end of the meeting, "Oh, by the way, your husband got hit by a car." My husband is such a guy.

OMG, How awful!! [:0] I'm so glad he's going to be okay. I have some friends that live right near there. I'll ask if they saw anything.

Hope DPD tracks them down. I can't believe the nerve of some ppl.

I am of no help as regards info, but so sorry about your husband's accident.

This is completely OT, but I wanted to post it just in case someone from here saw something or heard something about it.

My husband was crossing 9th at Grant in downtown Denver yesterday when he was hit by a gold Ford Taurus SHO sedan. The driver didn't stop, just yelled "Sorry!" out the window and drove on. There was a young (age 8-16) passenger in the car also. My husband was knocked down and too stunned to get a license plate number.

My husband is OK - his knee is banged up but he will be fine - but if anyone heard or say anything about this hit-and-run, please call the Denver Police Department and let them know.
