We've actually been pretty lucky with hurricanes the last couple of years. Most of them have come in near Pensacola and kind of angled above us. We don't have much problem with them unless they come in at Fort Walton or Panama City.

Nope not that far north here at all. We're actually on the east coast in central florida (titusville is basically where the shuttles lauch from). You're actually in a pretty hurricane ridden area huh? As far as Cathy, she's in Fort Myers which is even further south than me.
It's kind of nice to see some activity here!

I think we're north of the brush fires. We are almost on the Alabama line. In fact our property borders Alabama. Any of you from that far north?

We're doing ok in these parts! It's pretty "stinky" as my daughter would say. One of the fires is smoldering still about a mile from our house but we've had some rain over the last couple of days so hopefully for now the threat is over. Thanks so much for asking. Are you all doing ok?
