Hi everyone! The walk took place a couple of weeks ago. Many thanks to everyone who donated and/or joined us that day.

We had about 20 walkers, plus the little kids, walking in our park that morning. The weather was beautiful, with the rain holding off until we were almost finished packing up to go home.

We raised about $3,000, which includes all registrations, sponsorships, silenct auctions, donations, etc. We are very proud!

Hey Aimee-
I will be attending your walk this year. I actually live in FL but there isn't a walk in this area. I'll be arriving on Friday. If you need help the day of I would certainly like to be of assistance. I'm also bringing several of my family members so I can also volunteer their services! I am actually from the Atlanta area originally. I still have contacts there if you still need help in that regard. Please let me know! You can email me if you want.

My sister in law thinks she wants to make my mother in laws 65th birthday party that weekend in Ohio so I may not be around ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I can try to help you though prior to the walk. I am the vp of a parents partnered for preemies group at a HUGE baby hospital in Georgia, email me, maybe I can get people to participate.

I've secured the walk site!!

We will be walking in the same park this year as last - Pinckneyville Park in Norcross. Gathering time 9:00 AM. I am in desperate need of help gathering sponsors, spreading the word, etc. I will also need help on the day of the walk, as my mother (who was my main support last year) will be out of town that weekend, and my dear hubby has school all day that day. Phew!

This year I am not pregnant so I would love to help out. I get really busy with Walk America in the next few months but will always have time to help out with this also!
