To All:

I contacted the organizers -- no booth space left -- so that's a non-issue. They did offer, and I accepted, a nonprofit rate of $175 (rather than $250). Our brochure will go into all 3000 registration packages and our logo will be listed on the website as a sponsor, albeit of a secondary nature.

Thanks for the heads-up; this is an excellent opportunity to reach a great target audience in a very cost effective manner.

I would be jumping in to help as well, but that time of year is crazy for me. Plus I will be pretty preggers at that point. Goodluck!!!

OK, just sent Tom and Eleni the link to this post via email. Had I seen this earlier I would have jumped at trying to get a booth in for the PF but I only saw it in the June 27th paper around here. Early registration was already up.

I'm preggo now so I definitely have something to talk about in regards to PE/HELLP survival. heh

Figured I would put the notice out there for anyone who was interested.

She had HELLP Syndrome and talked about it in PEOPLE. It might be good to alert Tom V or Eleni about this as were I on staff, I'd likely try to come and find a way to chat with her. AND since I'm from Indianapolis originally (Danville, actually), I'd like to come just to come. Unfortunately, I've got my day job that has me quite busy... sounds great. Most of these have a comped booth for nonprofits but those go quickly. Even if you don't get it for this year, get our/your name in front of them so they can put you in the circulation for next year.

I have not called to find out if they would be willing to reduce or forgive the booth price for a non-profit. There is a vendor form if someone would wish to host a booth. (can always host a fundraiser to help with cost)

It has listed that there will be a special appearance from "The Original Bachelorette and star of The Bachelor,Trista Sutter"!

Many good sponsors of this expo and it would be a good foot in the door to talk to women about preeclampsia.

Would anyone be interested to help with something like this?
