I have to update all of you to the fact that we couldn't have had a more perfect day for this event! The sky was blue and it was just cool enough to be comfortable.
There had to be about 40-50 people there, maybe more, I didn't count. Stories were shared, information was available to those that wanted it, hugs were shared, balloons were released with names and messages on them for the souls to read and it was amazing to watch as all the balloons stayed in a group as they went up. We walked around the park/lake area behind Town Hall and enjoyed the company of one another. As one of the women mentioned, it was a safe place to be because no one would look at you differently or be afraid to talk to you about your loss. There were fathers, mothers, grandparents, and losses of all sorts.
It was a great day to be shared!!!
