Hey everyone, Im in Newport NC. Thats near Atlantic Beach Area... I had PE in my first pregnancy, and had a emergency C section with her at 36 weeks. I was still on the labetalol untill two weeks ago. My blood pressure has always been a little high 140/80. Im overweight for one, and its something that runs on my fathers side of the family. My exp. with this illness has been a tramatic one for myself, not really for my daughter. She *thank god* has not had that many medical problems except for Laryngomalacia which *thanks to Greenville NC doctors* I have been assured she will grow out of it without surgery by 18mths. Im currently loosing weight, and feeling better since my labor and delivery with her. My cut healed ok, and I have explored the option to have another or TTC again soon. Im only 26, but I can tell you that I have also thought about what if I get pe aGAIN, and that thought is scary. I wish there was a cure to prevent yourself from getting it. Ive been trying to read up on the illness, and I only know a little about it, and from what my doctor told me about it. Has anyone in NC here had second pregnancies that went good without having pe?? Any thoughts on when would be a good time frame to conceive again? Im willing to take the chance again to get pregnant. Anyoen else near me? Take Care!
