Bumping this up to keep on top!

We don't have a local March of Dimes group here in Marion. I actually have to go through Columbus. I wish that I could get the information as to where they are all at. I often wonder if they would even send an email out to Ohio members in regards to this foundation. I guess they may be afraid of losing volunteers? Don't know. But you are right in the fact that everytime I contact them I get a wealth of information and they are ALWAYS very helpful

The March of Dimes here in Dayton have been really helpful to me with information etc. According to them we have alot of "members" in common (WELL WHERE ARE THEY????)

Tanya that sounds like tons of fun!!! I know its short notice. Thanks to the 2 of you for replying and letting me know. I have family that has volunteered to help, but I feel its only fair to offer these types of opportunities to our Ohio members. I am thinking I am going to take this time to reach out to some other organizations.... March of Dimes, American Heart Association, and the Hellp Syndrome Society and maybe pass out some of their information as well. If I can get it back in time.

I'm afraid we can't make this one, we've promised some friends our day. We'll be going to the Cleveland airshow!!

WHAT: Saturday In The Park

WHEN: Saturday September 2, 2006

WHERE: Lincoln Park Marion, OHIO

TIME: 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

The Preeclampsia Foundation will be having an exhibit at this years Saturday in the Park!!!

Volunteers will be responsible for:

Greeting People as they visit our booth
Handing out brochures at our booth
Providing information in regards to Preeclampsia and our Foundation
Signing people up to receive more information about Preeclampsia

In order to have a booth at this event we must also have an event for the kids that visit. I have all the supplies to have a DUCK POND [:o)] so volunteers would be expected to "PLAY" Duck Pond with the kiddos that come by. [:D]

I think this will be a great way to create awareness. I think it would also help us gain volunteers and possibly people who would be willing to participate or help out with our annual Walk-a-thon.

If you can come please feel free to bring your children. There are a ton of activities and tons of giveaways.
