Hello! I am here in SE Portland! My daughter was born at 32+4 in November, 2010 after I was diagnosed about 1.5 weeks earlier. I feel incredibly lucky and thankful to have my daughter with me, but I spent almost a year feeling paralyzed by what had happened. I am now coordinating the 2012 Portland Promise Walk on Saturday, May 12 at Oaks Amusement Park in SE Portland. I would love to meet other Oregon ladies from the forum here. It would be amazing to see some of you at the walk. I think it will be an important, fun, and very empowering day for all of us! I know many of these Oregon posts are *years* old, but if anyone is here reading - please post, get in touch, and walk with us! I would love to see this Promise Walk be the beginning of a local support system here in Oregon.

Hi Hopkins, congrats on Dakota's birth!! Sounds like she is doing well now, though still so little! I hope she keeps breathing well and gaining weight and gets home soon.

Hey Oregon ladies...so I had my daughter on sept.23,2011...made it to 26 weeks thanks to the hospital bed rest for the last 2 weeks...baby Dakota is doing good she is strong and fighting...she's on the big ventilator right now but they are slowly weening her off to the smaller ventilator...she is taking breast milk by feeding tube and oral swobs (which she loves she is already sucking and latching to the cue tips) which is great...she has gained 4 oz and is 1 oz shy of the 2 lb milestone :) ...I will keep everyone posted...thanks for the support.

Glad to see there are still some in Oregon, I moved back to Portland, Oregon about a year ago, and just found out I'm Pregnant again after the loss in March 2009 in Arizona to my daughter...it's been a while since I've been on here...have to see how this goes a little nervous, going to the doctor this week....I will keep you posted...
