An update for the two meet and greets this summer--

Pittsburgh: Any members up for organizing a meet and greet? The member who first approached me is no longer able.

Philadelphia: If enough member are interested, I would like to host at the Philadelphia Zoo, August 2nd (I am flexiable on the date) from 10:00am till 2:00ish.

Please post if you are interested in hosting Pitts or can come to the zoo in Philly!

I will definitely do the Pittsburgh M&G too. I am just 90 miles East of the Burgh. Not sure when thing are being planned - but the month of July is absolutely out for me...way too much going on.

Catherine - if you need any info on Pittsburgh - please let me know. Lots and lots of great places for kids, shopping, outdoor events, sporting events, museums, concerts, you name it. My daughter and I travel to Pittsburgh pretty frequently.

Count me in for the stuff near Pittsburgh -- so long as I'm in town...

I am hoping that we can have two get togethers--one around Pittsburgh and the other outside of Philadelphia or Reading. Of course, whatever type of activity has the majority of interest, will occur.

as I mentioned before, I'm in for anything on this side of the state (southeastern). I liked the idea of the family picnic, but am open to anything - even a grown-up night out - whatever works for the majority.

Catherine, welcome to PA! We have friends in Cranberry Twsp so once in a while we travel to Pittsburgh. Anyway, best wishes for a smooth move!

Hi Molly, we're moving to Pittsburgh in July... I'd love to meet some PF folk in real life.

I am near Philly. I am a teacher so any day works for me. I am willing to drive, but it does depend on how far only since I have three kids under 6. But we will to travel. Anything sounds good to me!! We love Hershey. The Zoo in Philly is always fun. Adults getting out alone would work too. Whatever!

I have recieved three emails of interest for a summer meet and greet. So far, I have been approached to hold a family picnic on the east side or a scrapbooking event for just the ladies outside of Pittsburgh.

I would love to plan a summer meet and greet for the state! I was thinking that we could plan an event for the month of July or August. A couple ideas that I have are a family picnic, day at the zoo, amusment park, children's museum, dinner and drinks with just the ladies, scrapbooking...I am up for anything.

As far as location goes, majority wins. So, please post below where your located, what days this summer works the best, and what activities work well with you and your family.
