Lori, you've got the furthest to travel, maybe followed in second place by Cassie......earlier than 10:30 is ok to us, but we understand if that's the earliest feasible time for you guys.

I don't think we've decided on a definite time yet. So at least we know we are meeting at CB...obviously we'll need to meet by 10:30 at least to do breakfast (I think they serve it all day long but you kwim..)

Ok, so we'll just decide on the time. Let's all put in what we think and then we'll go from there.

I am thinking 10:30 for us. We've got a pretty good drive. We'll have to leave by about 7am or so.

Yeah, CB sounds good to me. We could just plan on meeting there at a certain time if that sounds good to everyone and then from there we can go over to the museum.

Whoa, that's a long one. It may not work, let me know if not. Otherwise, go to crackerbarrel.com and do the location search. The museum address is 211 Gervais St., Columbia, SC and I didn't put the zip code, but it still worked. There are two locations of the restaurant within 10 miles of the museum, but Bush River Rd. is the closest.

Yeah, they have a website. Hunter lives for bacon! He loves it!! My mom cooks it for him most every morning..LOL...Dalton will eat anything and everything. Do you know how far this place is in relation to the zoo? And since you know the web address, how about posting it on here so everyone can check it out to see what it's about..LOL..or am I the only one that's never been? Oh, and can the adults do the fun stuff too? Like slide out of Eddie's intestines? (Blech!)

YES there is a website, and thankfully it has one of those "find a location near you" features. I did the search and it shows a location 4.87 miles from the museum, on Bush River Rd. This has to be near I-26, I think I remember seeing it from the interstate as you pass by there. Sound like a plan to you guys? Yum, I'm already thinking about pancakes, biscuits,etc etc etc..................[}:)]

I just looked at their website and it says Saturday hours are 9-5. I like the Cracker Barrel idea, and Ethan (now that he's discovered food [:)]) absolutely loves eggs and sausage, so that would be awesome for him. Andrew, on the other hand, loves bacon, but he'd be covered too if we went there! Wonder how we could find out about locations....is there a Cracker Barrel website?

Good point Jen...Yeah, we'd have to get there pretty early for sure...hmmm..The drive for us to the zoo was about 2hrs 45mins. Not sure where in relation to the zoo this place is. Dalton is fairly easy going and if he gets tired he'll just fall asleep. Case in point, this past Saturday he was in his stroller at the Christmas parade...bands playing, sirens wailing and he nods off right in the middle of it and doesn't even flinch. I'm not so worried about him so I will go w/whatever the rest of you feel you need to do about your little ones. I wonder if there is a Cracker Barrell (sp? that doesn't look right) around there anywhere. That way if we tried to meet at 10ish we could get a good breakfast and do a snack mid afternoon sometime..whatever is fine w/me. I'm like Dalton..pretty easygoing so whatever is ok by us. I posted under GA & NC groups and no one has emailed me back w/any interest. I'll probably post one more time before we go. Also, what are the hours at this place? I tried looking it up online and think I found the right thing. It looks like they have this snow exhibit where you can sled, skate, etc. That will be fun! I'm really really looking forward to this!
