I have already sent him a message! My great-uncle is a State Representative, here in Texas, as well.

Thanks,

Texas House Rep's wife hospitalized

Texas House Rep. Jose Menendez's wife ((D) Cehlia Nicole Neuman-Menendez is hospitalized with preeclampsia. I wrote him via his work site and urge others, particularly our Texans, to do so as well to show your support and offer any assistance. If you are near or in Austin, you might also volunteer to visit her as she is at 31 weeks and (knock wood) has several more weeks to go...This disease is particularly bad in Texas (I think we have lost the most women from there but that is just based on my personal experience and not research). It is sad to hear she is in the hospital but comforting to know she is getting attentive care.

To write him click here:

To read more about his wife's story (FYI, the facts are pretty sloppy but we are happy for any attention we can get)click here:

Write him anything you want--support, sharing your story, whatever, but be sure to say you are with the Preeclampsia Foundation and that our website is a wealth of information and support. They are, afterall, normal people and no doubt need all the support they can get.

Thanks!!
