That would be great Lucy! We'd love to have everyone in the Pacific Northwest or other visitors join us. I need to clarify--I am suggesting a get together that specifically does NOT compete with the Annual Meeting but just a get together either before the annual meeting or after. That way--if you cannot afford or time-wise cannot get to the Annual Meeting--you have something close to home to look forward to. Sorry for any confusion! DEFINITELY get yourselves to San Diego in June/July!!

I know--I have been really bad about organizing things close to home. We would love to have an event this summer--a family picnic--sometime around the time of the annual event for people who are unable to make it down to California for the Annual Meeting. That means around the 3rd weekend in June or just after the 4th of July (the weekend of 7/7/07!!) Anyone game to a) come and b) help me organize it? (Norlisa??)

Let me know--otherwise, I will start planning all on my own.

Also--am wondering if we should make it regional--invite Idaho folks, Oregon folks, even those Alaskans... [}:)] Will ask the powers that be about that. I am sure we could recruit a celebrity doctor to join us.
