Hi everyone.
Not up to doing the walk this year. Still recovering from my son's birth on March 3 (he was 5 weeks early and doing just fine now). Going to my doctor tomorrow for 6 week follow up (had c-section). Hopefully we can get out walking in the nice weather and break in the new stroller!

Jen, glad to hear the girls are doing well. I bet Gracie will learn tons in her new program, how amazing! And that peanut Meghan, yay for her with the therapy! I know how hard you are working with her and you've done an awesome job (so has she).[:D]

Tina, you sure do have a little man on your hands! What a big boy! That's alright, love to hear about the healthy babes! My thoughts continue to be with you in regards to your dad. He remains in your heart and memories forever.

Kara, congrats on the real estate job. Hope you are selling lots of homes soon! Sorry to hear Avery is not doing so well with the GERD. Hope that appt went well and she's doing better soon. If you need to vent, shoot me an email and we can trade phone#'s. I remember those reflux days, and none too fondly.[;)]

Welcome Rebecca! [:D] We are happy to have you with us!! I am a fellow HELLP survivor, and am getting close to having a second child (32weeks now). Feel free to poke around on the forum and ask any questions you have. Everyone here is more than helpful. If you'd like to be on the mailing list for WI members, be sure to let me know via email and we can get you added asap. I'm up in northcentral WI, and everyone else is more southern WI, so we've got a majority down south.[;)]

Alissa, my pregnant WI buddy! Glad to hear you are still doing okay enough to remain off bedrest. I'm hoping you can stay away from that as long as possible. I know you are not looking forward to that. I bet Tori has been enjoying this weather, it's been fantastic!

Welcome! We are currently a small group in WI and very friendly. I just became a member 5 months ago. I know Denise from WI is a HELLP survivor, and the rest of us had various forms of preeclampsia. I'm sorry you've had reason to join us, but glad that you found us. I live in Madison.

We have a Walk-a-thon on May 13 in Beaver Dam, to raise money for awareness and research. A few of us will be there. Let me know if your interested...

Things here are kind of stressful right now. I am off of work until further notice since my bp's have been outrageous. I go back to the doc on Tuesday to discuss labs that were completed on Friday and the bp med that she put me on. I may be able to go back to work for a few hours if labs are good and the med is working so I am praying that I can since sitting home all day is driving me crazy. I guess I can't complain too much since I am not on offical bedrest yet and am not in the hospital. We have been enjoying the nice weather so Tori and I have been playing outside. We are 18 weeks pregnant today so we are half way there since it is very doubtful that I will be pregnant at 36 weeks. Our ultrasound is on May 4th so hopefully we find out what we are having...I think it is a boy but hopefully we will have a better idea in a few weeks. Hope everyone had a nice Easter

Wyatt is really getting big now.
I had him into the doctors office last week for an ear infection & just for giggles I had the nurse weigh him.....he is 20.4 lbs.
My friend said geez, what do you feed him?
Her son is 3 yrs. & weighs 32 lbs.
Oh well what can I say, I have a healthy eater in the family!
As far as myself goes: I'm still pretty broken up about my dad but there are days that aren't as bad as others.
It seems like when I talk to my mom & she gets upset than I do as well.
She told me over the phone last night, that she feels jealous when she sees couples together
I guess that must be very common?!
I too feel jealous when I see kids with their dads or when I see really older people & wonder why my dad couldn't have lived longer. I know that's not right but that's just how I feel right now.
With Easter here.....it makes it that much more difficult to bear without him!
Well, I hope everyone else here in WI id doing well!

I've been following your progress on your website, Denise! Looks like Spud AKA Phoenix is doing well. I hope his mommy is too! We are hanging in! Avery's GERD has gotten worse, so back to the GI tomorrow. She's almost 11lbs and 5 months old!! I've started a new career, to allow me to spend more time with dd. I'm a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams now...YIPEE!! Now I just have to find some buyers & sellers!!

I'm really loving the warmer weather and sunshine. It makes such a big difference! Can't wait for the 70's & 80's!!

We're good here Denise. Grace is happy in preschool, and has just been accepted into a german immersion K4 school program for the fall. She'll be instructed completely in German. I bet she won't be too happy about that at first, but it is a great program. She turns 4 on Easter.

Meghan is making great progress with her physical therapy. Her left sidede weakness is almost completely gone now but we are working on changing her habits to force an even distribution of activity across her body now. Otherwise, she is still a peanut at 19 pounds, 4 ounces. We go see the GI specialist on Friday. I'm not looking forward to that conversation since Meghan has actually lost weight. Ah the joys of a former micropreemie....She is doing great being an almost 2 year old now.

Me, I'm still taking my BP meds and have been feeling better on the meds now. I don't have as many headaches or migraines anymore. YAY! I'm very busy in my volunteer life too with the liver walk and a national conference on Alpha-1 coming up.

How are you doing lady? I was so happy to hear that "spud" is a boy. What a nice surprise!

I hope that your PG remains picture perfect. You deserve it! Tell Ms. Liver to remain calm!
