I to lost my baby boy in June. We were told to have some testing done 6 weeks post partum. and once my blood pressure was all better I was clear to start trying again as long as my blood work came back good. Thankfully it did. We started trying in Dec and I'm very happy t say Im 12 weeks already. It was a very hard choice to make, and it hasnt been an easy ride, Its hard to be happy for another baby when you miss your child so much. but you take it day by day. and time does help heal. You will never be healed 100%. you will always be feeling like something is missing. But remember we have our angel babies to look over us everyday. I completely understand how you are feeling. I just lost my baby on 08/02/11 due to HELLP at 35 weeks gestation. We have a thousand questions about trying again and will be going to our OB to get as many facts as possible. Its an overwhelming decision.

Do you know what caused your baby's death? I had HELLP.. but also my baby's umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck.. when she was born.. and they said one of her lungs collapsed.. And I see my OB early next month.. So I can probaly ask then.

Well it was unexpected.. I made it all the way to 40 weeks. and I got induced the day after my 40 weeks.. My blood pressure had always been mid-high through out my pregnancy.. but they weren't worried about it.. and during labor I asked for an epidural.. and they had to do blood work so I could get on.. and came back saying my plateletts were at 22,000 and said they think there was a mistake and retested my platelett's and came back saying now they're at 18,000. And then they diagnosed me with HELLP. and that's when I found out.. but a few days before my 40 weeks. I was having really bad chest pain.. right under my ribs.. and back pain.. between my shoulder blades.. and I called my midwife.. and she said that i'm ok.. that my baby is proably just high.. but I'm thinking that pain was more of a sign.

I just delivered on January 30th. And I lost my baby. I had HELLP.. The baby was also at 40 weeks gestation. I was wondering how long should I wait to try again?
